Amy Bopp Awarded 2008 Outstanding Deaf / Hard of Hearing Community Leader of the Year!
In honor of Deaf Awareness Week, Hamilton Relay recognized Amy Bopp as the 2008 Deaf / Hard of Hearing Community Leader for the State of Maryland in an award ceremony on October 3, 2008 at the Hearing and Speech Agency in Baltimore. Hamilton Relay annually recognizes one individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Deaf / hard of hearing community in Maryland.

Telecommunications Access of Maryland, within the Department of Information Technology, has a new contract in place for the procurement of Assistive Telecommunications Equipment and Associated Peripherals. State agencies, as well as Maryland county governments and municipalities, have the opportunity to purchase assistive telecommunications equipment as a result of this contract.
